Dear Mayor Pace, Council President Harris, and Hillsboro City Council:
Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the Sky Harbour appeal. I ask that you overturn the Planning Commission's decision, which was improperly made, and deny this land use application (DR-044-25) on the following grounds:
• Application fails to meet the City's approval criteria.
• Applicant relies on false statements made to the FAA.
• Applicant failed to carry their burden of proof.
• Procedural errors.
The operating characteristics of the proposed development would cause perpetual harm to the residents of Hillsboro and Washington County. The negative impacts of this devleopment have not been fully evaluated, minimized, or mitigated as required by the Hillsboro Community Development Code, including:
• Noise Pollution
• Air Pollution
• Adverse Health Impacts
• Reduced Property Values
• Carbon Emissions
I respectfully request that DR-044-25 be denied. Thank you.
